Bangkok 54, Arlington
Man- this place is soooo crowded on Saturday night! Food nothing outstanding, but certainly worth the visit given I live so close. the ambience is very nice, service very friendly, the bar is well equipped.
Bamian Restaurant

Everything Kebab! Service was kind of slow, but very friendly, nice atmosphere- may want to come early or reserve a table in a booth. Kebabs are nicely seasoned and perfectly prepared. Rice dishes are served with a VERY meaty meat sauce- delicious. However, if you are looking for spicy food you have yet again arrived at a location where the seasoning is adjusted to the local taste buds.
Great for the taste, not really cheap, and surely not fast. I liked it and would want to go back.

Brunch: Kennedy Center Roof Terrace Restaurant

This was a great brunch at 36$ per person, including sparkling wine and coffee. At first I was not sure where the food was, but then the waiter pointed out that the food was to be found in the kitchen. What a nice idea!
There was a wide variety of foods: Various cheeses, bacon, home fries, french toast, salads, breads, various prosciutto, various fish- even oysters. Omelettes were prepared in the dining area, desserts near the entrance. The chocolate creme brulee was very good!
Overall, the value was great and there is a wonderful view through the panoramic windows!
